On 10 August 2026, Kristu Jayanti Institute of Management (KJIM) conducted a Faculty Development Session on “Case-Based Teaching and Assessment”, facilitated by Dr. D. Joseph Charles Tamilmaran, Associate Professor and Head, KJIM, and OBE Coordinator, Kristu Jayanti University. The session explored the philosophy and application of the case study method, highlighting its role in fostering critical thinking, ethical reasoning, decision-making, and communication skills. Through interactive case discussions and analytical frameworks such as PACADI, Stakeholder Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and Cost–Benefit Analysis, participants gained practical insights into effective case-based pedagogy. The session concluded with reflections on classroom discussion practices and the value of experiential learning in enhancing student engagement and workplace readiness.
