The BSmart initiative by the Business Standard is an integrated technology platform developed exclusively for India’s B-School ecosystem, aimed at bringing together management students, faculty, and recruiters on a single, seamless interface. A key component of this initiative is the BSmart Brand Canvas, a nationwide platform that blends strategic thinking with creative cinematic expression. On April 11th, at the P101 Conference Hall, PG Block, Kristu Jayanti University, the first Campus round was conducted for MBA students of Kristu Jayanti Institute of Management (KJIM). The Campus Round, which evaluates creativity, relevance to the brief, storytelling clarity, and technical execution.12 participating teams who had submitted their 30-second video advertisements and one-page strategy synopsis through the BSmart App, presented their concepts before a distinguished jury members comprising T. E. Manikandan, Manager, Business Standard; Dr. D Ravindran and Dr. Anil Kumar, Marketing Professors, from Kristu Jayanti Institute of Management, along with Abishek Chatterjee, Business Standard who joined as an online jury member. The evaluation was based on creativity, relevance to the brief, storytelling clarity, and technical execution, resulting in the selection of the top three team, Winners: Team Fenox (Dayas Babu, Paranav V S, Jingle Jiju, and Sidharth Santhosh V V), I Runner-up: Team FUSION 4 (Anjali Ashok, Sreelakshmi Bino, Justin Shaji, and Ashwin Nair), and II Runner-up: Team THUNDERBOLT (Kiran K, Sanjay Shonima Jayesh, Kevin Sachin James, and Pavithra S) for advancement to the next stage of B Smart 2026, making the event a valuable platform for showcasing creativity, strategic thinking, and industry-oriented presentation skills.
