Kristu Jayanti Institute of Management organised an insightful session titled “Learn to Lead - From Classroom to Boardroom”, on 11th September 2026 aiming at providing students with valuable perspectives on leadership, professional development, entrepreneurship, and the evolving world of work. Dr. Flight Lieutenant A. T. Kishore, the distinguished speaker, shared his professional journey and experiences, highlighting the importance of adaptability, problem-solving, discipline, integrity, empathy, communication, and entrepreneurial thinking in achieving professional success. Dr. Kishore highlighted the transformative role of technology and Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future of work and encouraged students to view AI as a force multiplier, while combining technological capabilities with human judgement. He emphasised the difference between classroom and boardroom thinking—moving from being given problems to identifying problems and developing effective solutions. The session also underscored the importance of communication, empathy, networking, entrepreneurial thinking, and execution in achieving professional success. The session concluded with the inspiring message: “Don’t just look for a job, become someone the world needs.”
