Kristu Jayanti Institute of Management (KJIM) organized a Mock Campus Placements programme to prepare final-year students for the recruitment process. More than 15 eminent alumni from diverse organizations and industries participated in the initiative. The alumni returned to KJIM with a strong spirit of gratitude and giving back to their alma mater. They shared valuable industry experiences, professional insights, and practical perspectives with the students. The programme provided students with an opportunity to understand the expectations and realities of the corporate recruitment process. One-on-one mock interviews were conducted by the alumni, giving students a realistic interview experience. Students received valuable feedback on their communication, confidence, presentation, and interview performance. The interaction helped students identify areas for improvement and develop greater confidence for actual placement interviews. The initiative strengthened the meaningful industry–institution–alumni connect and provided students with practical exposure beyond the classroom. The Mock Campus Placements programme successfully contributed to making the final-year students’ industry-ready, while celebrating the continued contribution of KJIM alumni to their alma mater.
